After downloading and installing Azahar, launch the application and click the "Add Game" button. Select your 3DS ROM files, and the games will be automatically added to your library. Double-click on a game icon to start playing. You can customize controls, display settings, and performance options in the settings menu.
Yes, Azahar is a fully open-source project with code publicly available for review on GitHub. Each of our releases is scanned through Virustotal to ensure there is no malicious code. Please make sure to download the emulator only from the official website (azahar-emu.org) and avoid unofficial sources to ensure your safety.
Azahar currently supports over 300 3DS games, including popular titles such as the Pokémon series, Monster Hunter series, Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Fire Emblem series, Mario series, and more. We continuously optimize game compatibility and regularly add support for new games through updates.
Transferring saves from Citra is very simple. In Azahar, go to Settings > Game Data > Import, then select your Citra save folder location. Azahar will automatically detect compatible save files and provide import options. Most game saves can be transferred seamlessly, though a few games might require additional steps.
